At the edge of the classroom, a timid looking girl is seen fidgeting her fingers. At this moment, you'd think she was shy or in love or something, but for that girl, being shy or in love made it even harder for her and others around her. W-what should i do? If I raise my hand and say I don't get this, Itoshiki-sensei'll be mad at me for not understanding the first time! Then he'll send me to the principal's office and then I'll end up getting detention. And if it ends like that, I would have created more trouble for everybody around me. I'd waste Sensei and the classes' time, make Sensei bother to talk to me, and make the principal even busier since I'll be there and then.... And on she goes with her rambling, other students hear her and turn to look for a brief moment before minding their own business. The poor girl sees this and starts apologizing, "I'm sorry!!!!" The others just ignore her at this point, any other gesture or sound directed at her would make her go on and on with her incoherent apologies and if that goes on, then the class wouldn't have a moment in peace. Of course, not if they ever had any moments of 'tranquility' in that classroom. (( Gah! the title makes it seem like it's about Mayo Mitama D:<
